The IBPA member benefit
IBPA members of any size, type, or kind contemplating the acquisition of a publisher or author errors and omission liability policy will receive a competitive media perils liability insurance proposal from Mike Mansel at Aegis Insurance Markets.
In most cases, the policy offered will be an "occurrence form" policy including the customary media perils such as, but not limited to, libel, plagiarism, piracy, copyright infringement, defamation, infringement of the right of privacy or publicity, outrage, infliction of emotional distress, misappropriation of property rights, and contextual liability or defective advice protection. The cost of legal defense will be included.
ALREADY AN IBPA MEMBER? Great! Simply log into the "members only" area of the IBPA website to download a current copy of the IBPA Membership Benefits Handbook containing all the information you need to take advantage of each IBPA member benefit.
