Each week, IBPA posts an article in the IBPA Member News section of our website showcasing an IBPA member (independent publisher or author publisher)...and we're looking for more candidates!
|IBPA eNewsletter from Nov. 8, 2018 with a Member Spotlight on Interlude Press
IBPA Member Spotlight articles are an excellent way to celebrate you and your independent publishing company. The article is highlighted at the top of our eNewsletter (see image right - monthly circulation of 20,000) and posted on our social media pages. They're a great opportunity for showcasing your accomplishments and getting exposure for your company.
Below are details about the types of stories we’re looking to feature in a future article. (One quick note, however: publishing a book is an incredible accomplishment, but we’re not seeking this kind of news for an IBPA Member Spotlight article. See more details about this at the bottom of this page.*)
Here are the three main types of stories we're seeking for upcoming IBPA Member Spotlight articles:
- We’re seeking “newsy” stories. Are you a cookbook author who won a national cooking competition? Did you publish a book about space travel and then it was read by an astronaut on a live feed from the International Space Station?
- We’re seeking unique stories. Did you publish a book about cycling and then do a book tour where you rode your bike across the U.S.? Did you publish a book about tigers and then start a sanctuary to rescue big cats?
- We’re seeking human interest stories. Do you spend every weekend going to animal shelters and reading books to dogs and cats? Did you donate 100 books to your local children’s hospital?
Here are a few examples of recent IBPA Member Spotlight articles for your reference:

*At IBPA, we love supporting our community, so feel free to email email@example.com the details of your upcoming book launch (book title, book cover, launch date, a link to where people can read more about your book, and Twitter/Facebook handle) and he’ll share that exciting news on our IBPA Twitter and Facebook pages. These book launch announcements are for books with upcoming publishing dates, not books that have already published.
