FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Denver, CO - November 15, 2017) -- Award-winning publisher and IBPA member, Night River Press, is giving a Halloween favorite – The Toothless Fairy to school and public libraries who have been affected by the recent hurricanes in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.
Skeeter Buck is the creator of the award-winning book – The Toothless Fairy – and founder of Night River Press. Having recently lived in San Juan, Puerto Rico and with friends in Florida, Texas and Puerto Rico who have lost homes and businesses, she realized there was something she needed to do.
As a book publisher and parent of a son who loves to read, she knows and values the importance of libraries.
Having spent years as a community organizer, board member and fundraiser for several non-profit organizations, she knew she needed to do something. "When it hurts, you give, and you give until it hurts," has been one of her mantras for years. "You start with your sphere of influence and work outward." And, this is how she came up with the idea to gift her book to libraries that have been devastated by the recent hurricanes.
