(Manhattan Beach, CA - July 29, 2020) -- The Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA)will hold three free webinars (August 11, 13, 18) exploring four of the over 60 unique member benefits available exclusively to IBPA members. Although the benefits are exclusively for IBPA members only, the webinars are open to all.

IBPA member liaison Christopher Locke

“Whenever IBPA does a member survey, members consistently say that the exclusive (and substantial!) discounts on provider services is one of their favorite aspects of being part of the IBPA community.” said IBPA member liaison Christopher Locke. “It’s important to the IBPA team that members know the ins and outs of all the benefits provided, so we’re proud to offer this new webinar series that gives an in-depth look at the numerous benefits, and that there will be a representative from each company to answer questions members may have.”

NPD BookScan & NPD PubTrack Digital

On August 11, 2020, representatives from NPD Books will offer an in-depth look at the NPD BookScan and NPD PubTrack Digital Benefits available through IBPA.

IBPA members receive access to NPD BookScan data across two tiers at deeply discounted rates. Each tier is limited to IBPA members within a specific revenue band. In September 2018, NPD launched their new DecisionKey Dashboard. With DecisionKey, users can see metrics about the industries, categories, competitors, and brands that matter to their business in a graphical view that’s easier to consume and less data-intensive. The IBPA member discount remains the lowest discount offered by NPD to any organization.

NPD PubTrack Digital is a simplified “e” sales collection process, fully independent of retail reporting, that provides a clear and realistic picture of the e-book business today. Data coverage spans three years and gives unprecedented access to two of the main market segments (e-Tail and Libraries/Distributors).

Book Industry Health Insurance Partnership (BIHIP)

On August 13, 2020, Tim McNichols from LIG Solutions will help attendees learn how the Book Industry Health Insurance Partnership (BIHIP) can provide immediate access to health coverage, during Open Enrollment and beyond.

QuickBooks Online

On August 18, 2020, representatives from QuickBooks Online will help IBPA members better understand the IBPA member benefit for QuickBooks Online accounting software, providing tools to manage your customers, vendors, clients, inventory and finances.

QuickBooks automates many aspects of managing your business by calculating sales tax, tracking products and automatically updating transactions in your register, customer and vendor areas IBPA members receive a 30% annual discount on a single unit QuickBooks Online subscription and an 80% annual discount on a multi-unit QuickBooks Online subscription (for the first 5 years only - minimum 5 subscriptions). New subscribers only.
