IBPA Members Invited to Apply for a Seat on an IBPA Committee (Application Deadline: May 15th)
Tuesday, April 14, 2020
(Manhattan Beach, CA - April 14, 2020) -- Calling all IBPA members.... The Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) needs you! Here is your chance to help lead the largest association dedicated to furthering the profession of independent book publishing. IBPA is currently seeking members in good standing for at least 12 months to serve on the following committees during IBPA's fiscal year 2021 (being July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021).
Service on an IBPA committee carries with it an obligation to participate actively in committee work through contribution of industry expertise, prompt reply for feedback, and attendance at committee meetings.
The benefits are many, including:
- A significant role in advancing the profession of independent publishing;
- An opportunity to enhance the value of IBPA in the independent publishing community;
- Access to up-to-date information about the challenges facing independent publishers;
- The chance to exchange ideas and perspectives with other volunteer leaders.
IBPA committees are limited in size and IBPA is not able to accept all who apply each year. If you apply and are not selected for committee participation during IBPA's fiscal year 2021 (being July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021), IBPA hopes you will apply again for fiscal year 2022.
The application deadline is Friday, May 15, 2020. Applicants will be notified of their application status by Monday, June 1, 2020. Click here to apply.
