IBPA Events at BookExpo 2019: Educational Sessions & Happy Hour
Friday, April 19, 2019
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Manhattan Beach, CA - April 19, 2019) -- Reed Exhibition's BookExpo 2019 kicks off in New York City on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 and runs through May 31st.
On June 20, 2018, the IBPA Board of Directors decided to forgo cooperative book display at BookExpo 2019. This decision came after years of deliberation and several dedicated conversations between IBPA and BookExpo brought on by disappointing 2017 and 2018 programs.
Despite discontinuing the cooperative book display, IBPA continued to explore ways to actively represent IBPA members at BookExpo 2019. This letter announces the result of these efforts: two IBPA-produced educational sessions and an offsite IBPA member networking opportunity.
