Upper Peninsula Publishers and Authors Association (UPPAA) presents their 2020 Spring Conference on the campus of beautiful Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan on June 6, 2020 from 9:30am to 5:00pm.

The keynote speaker will be marketing maven Carolyn Howard-Johnson whose How-to-Do-it-Frugally series, most notably The Frugal Book Promoter just released in its 3rd edition, has become the most important primer for independent authors. Breakout sessions will address self-publishing for both adult and children's books, writing and researching historical fiction and nonfiction, using YouTube and social media to promote your message, and back-to-basics sessions on topics such as character development.

Admission is free to all UPPAA members or $40 at the door. New this year is a special preconference Fiction Writing Workshop on June 5, 2020. Enrollment to the preconference is limited to the first 20 signups.

For more information as it becomes available, visit the UPPA website.
