From Joylynn M. Ross, Literacy Educator for Path To Publishing:

"Path To Publishing understands one's publishing success is just as important as their writing success. This is why we host a conference that doesn't simply focus on writing and seeking literary agent representation and book deals, but it teaches writers and authors of all genres--as well as literary industry professionals, business owners, independent and boutique publishers, entrepreneurs, and experts--how to navigate the literary industry and contribute to the literary arts while being in control of their intellectual property. We equip attendees with the tools, information, strategies, and resources to own their success.

"There's literary success, and then there's financial literary success, but you can have them both, and that's one of the goals of the instruction and curriculum found at the "Act Like an Author, Think Like a Business" Conference; to tell, teach, show, and assist attendees in executing and implementing the tasks needed to achieve one's desired measure of literary and/or financial literary success. Unlike most conferences where attendees spend hours taking notes, and if they're lucky, will receive a handout or two from the 45-minute presenters, ALAATLAB actually provides attendees with access to the digital slides/curriculum taught in the main sessions of the conference for use long after the conference has ended. With the conference now doubling as a DIY MBA in Publishing Program, those who choose to will also receive access to five additional online sessions after the conference. Upon registration of the conference, attendees receive access to the Path To Publishing private group, where they are nurtured prior to the conference. Yes, attendees receive information and the opportunity to interact with conference instructors and experts before, during, and long after the conference has ended. Not many conferences offer this opportunity, and in my 22-years in the literary industry, I haven't attended one that has.

"So, I'm delighted to offer IBPA members the opportunity to register for all three days of the conference for the price of only two. After visiting and registering for only two-days of the conference, upon checkout, when asked how you heard about the conference or if you have a coupon code, members should enter the code IBPA and their two-day registration will automatically be upgraded to all three days."
