About the Program:

The success of a book is largely dependent on the efforts planned before it goes on sale. During this 60-minute online webinar, you'll explore specific case studies showcasing tactics and strategies you can implement in marketing, publicity, and sales to help create influential conversations that will lead to recommendations and, ultimately, sales. You will learn how to:

  • Find and reach targeted communities of influencers.
  • Enable discovery through metadata, reviews, and giveaways.
  • Leverage early buzz to create organic conversation around your book and author.

Panelists include: Donna Spurlock of Charlesbridge Publishing, talking about Like Vanessa; book marketer Heidi Sander of DigiWriting discussing "The Legend of Rhyme" series; and author Tara Lynn Masih (a 2013 Silver medal winner of the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award for The Chalk Circle), talking about "My Real Name Is Hanna". Tara is an indie author with a background in marketing for small presses.

Can’t attend this webinar live? Sign up anyway and watch the recorded session at a time suitable to you. Everyone who registers will receive an email with the video recording of the webinar and a copy of the presenter slides.
