Welcome to the NEW IBPA Website!

December 10, 2012

After literally months of hard work  (those of you who have ever been through a website redesign know what I’m talking about), thrills and angst in equal proportions (well, maybe just a SHADE more angst), and a few delays (and those of you who have been through a similar project ALSO know what I mean), the IBPA Board of Directors and staff are proud to introduce the brand new IBPA website. Constructed with the needs of our members AND the independent publishing community in mind, we trust you’ll find the wait worthwhile as you browse through your Member  Benefit Handbook, Independent articles, membership directory, and newly-constructed educational and marketing resources. Come on in, kick the tires, explore and enjoy.

A huge thank-you to the IBPA Board of Directors and especially to board member Davida Breier, whose guidance, energy and attention to every detail of this project helped bring it to fruition. Another huge thank-you to Terry Nathan, Lisa Krebs and Patti Grasso, your dedicated IBPA staff whose hard work made this new site possible.

Y’all come! http://www.ibpa-online.org

  1. I am thrilled with the new website and send my congratulations to all those involved, and especially Davida Breier and the IBPA Staff. WOW is all I can say. IBPA’s new website will increase the success and knowledge of its members. Do you know someone who might like IBPA? Be sure to encourage them to join. We have lots of new things coming up that will boost their sales as well as their understanding of the ever changing publishing world. *clap*clap*clap*

  2. Steve Mettee says:

Kudos to Davida and the IBPA staff for a job well done!

  3. Al Canton says:

We do websites for authors and publishers and I can say quite honestly (and with some modest authority!) that you did a really good job on the new web “home” of IBPA. It’s lean, clean, and well organized. I can tell that a lot of thought and effort went into this WordPress site. Congrats on an excellent result!

  4. Clarity and usability are key components of a site—congratulations to the IBPA staff and team for your new website. I know it takes good planning and lots of time—my website was redesigned 2 years ago.
As Past President of your New England affiliate, IPNE, I often helped at regional and local book events and was proud to tell our booth visitors about IBPA and its benefits, show your magazine, and distribute your fliers.
Thank you for all you do on behalf of the seasoned authors and publishers who are trying to catch up with all the changes in the industry as well as those just venturing into the book-publishing world. I personally have benefited from your conferences and programs. There’s so much to learn and IBPA is right there!
