BISG Executive Director Resigns

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(New York, NY - August 3, 2016) -- The Book Industry Study Group (BISG) announced today that Executive Director Mark Kuyper has resigned his position, effective immediately, as he looks to explore other areas of interest. A search for a new Executive Director is underway.

"We wish Mark the very best in all his future endeavors. As a longtime board member and friend of BISG, Mark will be greatly missed,” said Tara Catogge of Quarto Publishing Group USA Inc. and Chair of the BISG Board.

"I am proud of what we accomplished during my tenure, including popular new training webinars and workshops, and a modernized, efficient, data-rich, mobile office structure designed to support BISG and its members’ education and research needs into the next decade," said Mr. Kuyper.

BISG will celebrate 40 years of industry leadership at its Annual Meeting of Members on September 30th. Details are available on the BISG website.
