Why did you become a book publisher? “After authoring books and publishing them through several companies I wanted to tap my experiences in helping others. There are many wonderful books ideas out there, but the publishing process can be quite daunting. I became a book publisher to encourage others to share their gifts with others.”

What do you like best about publishing? “I am thrilled when I am able to help someone bring their creative talents to print. Far too many professional educators and parents share their life gifts mostly with young people within a relatively small circle of others. I enjoy assisting these people in bringing their gifts to print so that they can vastly expand the number of young people they can influence.”

What do you publish? We publish resources for professional educators and parents. We specialize in developing materials to help young people with social, emotional, and/or behavioral issues.

What is the most effective form of marketing for your press? Our catalog and website.

How do you define a successful title? A successful title should capture the essence of the contents and purpose of the book.

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving success? To keep costa down so products can be resonably priced for professioanl educators and parents.

What advice do you have for newcomers to book publishing? Work hard to build and maintain long-term relationaships with authors.

How will you and your company be positioned in five years? We hope to expand our market more to parents and Libraries.

When you're not fully immersed in publishing, what do you do for fun? International travel with my family.
