Why did you become a book publisher? Our resourceful and accomplished art group has provided illustrations to the publishing industry for decades. Given our years-worth of archived stories and gorgeous art, it’s only natural for us to begin writing, illustrating, and producing our own eBooks.

What do you like best about publishing? To be able to read, envision and select the artwork that best fits the storyline. The ability to take a story, design, direct and transcend it to an new final state. It can be challenging, time consuming and even take years before a book is ready but when it is finally developed it is a joy to see a living proof of artistic and literary collaboration among your peers.

What do you publish? Children's books.

What is the most effective form of marketing for your press? The best form of marketing as been word of mouth, bloggers and even Amazon consumer reviews. We have entered into a few awards competitions and have been mentioned as finalists.

How do you define a successful title? A successful title to us is not defined into how much money it makes but rather how much freedom we took with expression and skill to tell a particular story. It is this kind of books that only get better with age.

Tell us about one of your titles about which you are especially proud. Our first title is Sticks 'n Stones 'n Dinosaur Bones - it is a retelling of the infamous rivalry between paleontologist Edwin Cope and Othaniel Marsh better known as The Bone Wars told gleefully in RHYME by Author Ted Enik! Who does that? We do! Deliriously illustrated by G.F. Newland. We had so much fun with it that we set upon a second title to start a series Bathysphere Boys will be ready Summer 2016. The story of the first deep bathysphere to ever descend to the treacherous depths of the ocean floors between odd couple adventures William Beebe and Otis Barton. Another Unhinged History book in the works by Pixel Mouse House Books

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving success? The biggest challenges has been how to stand out from a field of thousand upon thousand of new books released each day. We know it's an obstacle that only time, persistence and tenacity can overcome.

What advice do you have for newcomers to book publishing? Take your time producing your title. Once it is released you cannot take it back. It is best not to release it right away but rather have it in a proof ready stage to shop around or create a buzz.

How will you and your company be positioned in five years? With as many as 20 children's book titles to be released in next two years we do hope to become a fixture in small independent book stores around the country. Our titles can be quirky and slightly off centered but that quite all right for most bookstores.

When you're not fully immersed in publishing, what do you do for fun? When I'm not full immersed in publishing, it's all about the artwork. I never stop looking at illustrations and what is next or coming down with technology. It can be fun activities connected with music or interactive apps. Reading the latest novels comes next.
