What is the most effective form of marketing for your press? I yet to discover how to best market our books. Need a lot of help.

How do you define a successful title? A book that is read and appreciated by thousands if not millions.

Tell us about one of your titles about which you are especially proud. The Dissector, a book written by my wife of 53 years is especially gratifying. Her goal for many years was to write a murder mystery novel based on her experiences as a professor of anatomy at three medical schools. After several years of being encouraged to write the book, she did and I was pleasantly surprised at how really good it turned out. Then she was getting very frustrated attempting to convert and submit her manuscript into an Amazon kindle ebook. That's when I began to learn as much as I could to help her with that task. Read several books regarding how to format for createspace paperback books and kindle ebooks. After several attempts, I was able to get it done. Now came the task of getting a book cover designed. We choose the cover photo and then hired a freelance book designer. Went back and forth with the designer and finally accepted his work. I then got a copy of GIMP, read up on how to use it, and we finished the book covers for paperback and ebook editions.

What has been your biggest challenge in achieving success? Have not achieved success until we have sold 1,000,000 copies.

What advice do you have for newcomers to book publishing? None. I am a newcomer.

When you're not fully immersed in publishing, what do you do for fun? I love gardening, flowers that is. Have a half acre of all manner of flowers. Something blooming all year. We enjoy traveling by car. In fact, we have a trip planned for May 2015, to drive up U.S. highway 11 starting from New Orleans, LA. and going northeast as far as we can in two weeks. Plan to take a lot of photos and gather info on local attractions along the way. May set up a blog.
