About the Program:

Virtual Book Tours allow authors to set up a national book launch to increase exposure of their new release without the costs and headache of travel. A Virtual Tour benefits both the reader and the author as the content lives on in cyber space much longer than the one to two hours an author would be present at an in-person book event.

Virtual Tours are a highly effective marketing strategy that can be organized and implemented without hiring a publicity or marketing team and without all the costs that occur in a traditional book launch. This online workshop will teach participants everything they need to know to design a virtual tour and how it can be used alongside their other book launch marketing efforts.

The workshop will present an overview of not just how to design and implement a virtual tour but the who, what, where and when as well. It will begin with an understanding of who your target market is and connecting with relevant influencers in that market.

About the Presenter:

Award-winning author and founder of the publishing company, Cardinal Rule Press, Maria Dismondy inspires and educates others in the business of publishing. Maria’s background in early education and commitment to teach the importance of character building enables her to touch lives the world over while touring as a public speaker in schools, community forums, and at national conferences. When Maria isn’t working, she can be found embarking on adventures throughout southeast Michigan and beyond, where she lives with her husband and three book-loving children.
