Books For Review
How it works:
Currently mailed quarterly (January, April, July, and October) to approximately 3,000 book reviewers at newspapers, magazines, websites, blogs, radio and television shows. Bounce-back cards are included in this mailing for reviewer to request specific title(s). Names, addresses and phone numbers of requesting reviewer are forwarded to each participating publisher. Program mails 3rd class and each participant receives a copy of this mailing via first class mail.
IBPA designs four-color catalogs featuring a front cover picture of your book, along with a 100-word description. Also included are ISBN, price, a maximum of three distributors/wholesalers, and publishing company’s name and address (which is not included as part of the 100-word description). All descriptive paragraphs will be edited to meet the 100-word requirement. When your registration has been processed you will receive an email requesting your information.
- A 300 DPI.tiff file (CMYK) of book cover approx. 2″ inches tall.
- Title, subtitle and author.
- A 100-word description of your title.
- ISBN, price, number of pages, a maximum of three wholesalers/distributors.
- Book’s suggested genre.
- Company name and address.
- Website or email address.
Deadlines and Prices:
The price for the Books for Review catalog is $210 per title listing.
All programs mail 3rd Class Bulk mail. Approximate delivery time of program is 40-60 days after registration deadline date.
What to Expect from Books For Review Cooperative Mailings:
Best case: Many review requests from recipients.
Average case: A modest amount of review requests.
Worst case: Exposure to the market.
Due to the nature of cooperative marketing, it is possible that the mailing for which you register may be temporarily delayed or rescheduled
