Podcasting has emerged as one of the more popular book promotion tools. And here is your chance to get professionally produced podcasts for your authors ­ for much less than if you were to produce it yourself.

How it works:

• A 5-7 minute professionally produced audio podcast of whatever you want. You can use the podcast to talk about your publishing house, or to profile or feature upcoming titles. Or, we can conduct an interview with one of your authors, talking about their newest work.

• Beyond the Book’s Christopher Kenneally will be the interviewer with the IBPA member or your author as the guest. Christopher is not only the well-respected Director of Author Relations at Copyright Clearance Center and the host of the Beyond the Book podcast and all its public events ­ he is also an award-winning journalist with vast experience in covering publishing for television, radio, print and online media.

• The podcast interviews will be conducted by phone. You will be able to guide the interviews, by submitting five questions that Christopher will ask them.

• The podcasts are being produced by BurstMarketing, a national leader in publisher and author podcast production and distribution.

The cost:

• One podcast episode is $500.
