IBPA Members get 50% off American Booksellers Association Advanced Access Program!

Each month, they email over 1,000 independent booksellers with news of galleys, reading copies or finished books that publishers are offering for review. After receiving a free review copy from you, stores will read and decide whether to carry the title. They make no promises, but the Advance Access program has proved to be a very effective way to get the word out about titles. Stores will email you directly, and generally, you can expect requests from 25-50 booksellers.

All book descriptions must be sent to Pete Reynolds at peter@bookweb.org with title, author, publisher, ISBN, subject category, publication date, the number of free copies you have to offer, a maximum three-sentence description, and an email address to which the booksellers can write to directly request a copy.

The charge is $75 for IBPA members (normally $150) for this program to cover the volume of offers and the staff time it takes to process and aggregate them.

Due to high volume, it may take us 2-3 weeks from your first writing until word of your book offer gets emailed to the stores.
