About Publisher's Weekly - PW Select

PW Select is a monthly Publishers Weekly supplement that presents self-published books to Publishers Weekly’s trade audience. For each title, the supplement includes author, title, subtitle, price, pagination and format, ISBN, a brief description, and ordering information.

PW Select focuses on self-publishing and includes reviews of self-published books, author interviews, feature articles about self-publishing, and a paid announcements listing of recently self-published titles.

Members who take advantage of this benefit will be guaranteed an announcement listing in the online and print editions of PW Select. In addition, listed books will be featured on BookLife.com, Publishers Weekly's site dedicated to indie authors, and announced on BookLife's Twitter and Facebook channels. Listed books will also be featured on the homepage of www.publishersweekly.com. The author will also receive a six-month digital subscription to Publishers Weekly at no additional cost.

While registering for PW Select, authors can also submit their books for Publishers Weekly review consideration. This review consideration is free. Titles chosen for review are done so independently by Publishers Weekly’s editorial staff. If a title is chosen for review, the author must accept the resultant review whether good or bad. The same standards that have helped Publishers Weekly gain an excellent reputation among librarians, booksellers, and industry members are applied to self-published titles.
